Step.1:Go to the "Messages" tab from the home screen. It will look like a light green square with a white speech bubble in it. If you have any unread messages, the number of unread messages will show up in a little red circle on the top right of the button.

Method 2: Delete a Specific Message Using iOS 7
1.Click on the person's name from the Message screen. This will take you to a record of all the messages you have exchanged with that number.
2.Press and hold the message you want to delete. Click "More..." A small circle should appear next to every message, with the check mark filled into the one you selected.
3.Check off all the messages you want deleted, and click on the trash can in the bottom left corner.
4.Click "Delete Message" or "Delete # Messages".

1.Click the "Edit" button at the top left of the Messages screen.

3.Tap "Delete"! This will delete all messages from that person. At this point you can also choose to delete messages from other people by clicking the red circles to the left of their names.
4.Click the "Done" button at the top left of the screen when you have finished. This will return you to the normal Messages screen.

1.Click on the person's name from the Message screen. This will take you to a record of all the messages you have exchanged with that number.
2.Click on the edit button at the top right of the screen.
3.Choose the message or messages you would like to delete. If you change your mind and decide not to delete any, simply go to the "Done" button at the top right of the page
4.Once you've finished selecting all of the messages you would like to delete, just tap the "Delete" button at the bottom of the page!
